I still can’t believe this actually happened!! But Nailbox, the monthly subscription service for nails, contacted me to review their July box!! My first blogger mail and it was just as exciting as I imagined it would be. So most importantly I want to say a massive thank you to Nailbox and seeing something in my blog.
Nailbox is a beauty service dedicated to the world of nails. Each month you receive 5 products consisting of 3-4 nail polishes and 1-2 nail tools or treatments. The quality of the brands included are brilliant. From established well know brands to new and growing brands too. For £15 a month on a rolling subscription or there are slightly cheaper options on 3, 6 or 12 set monthly subscriptions. The value for money is brilliant because just 1-2 out of the 5 products included would equal to or exceed this monthly price.
Let’s take a closer look into the July Nailbox that I received…
- Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish in Soho Place
- True Brit London Nail Enamel in The Summer House
- Angelica Nail Colour in Snow White
- Nailberry Coconut Nailbalm
- Brushworks Toe Separators
‘Paradise’ is the theme of this box which is a fun way of tying the whole box together. Different nail polish colours represent the sea, sand and fluffy clouds in a summer sky. And the scent of the coconut balm whisks you away to a far away island dreaming of your next holiday…of which mine is still 9 weeks away!!!
I haven’t had a chance to try all of the products yet but I have tried the nailbalm. It is really hydrating, nourishing and a little goes a long way. A real treat for my nails! I put a little bit on each finger and rub into the cuticles just before going to bed. ‘Nailberry’ is a brand I haven’t come across before but I will definitely be checking out what other products they have after this.
I’m really excited to try out the Nails Inc polish colour. It’s such a bright turquoise, perfect for summer and sitting by a pool. I’ve already got some of the gel polishes from Nails Inc and they are amazing. Vibrant colours, chip resistant and a really good shaped brush, which I feel is often overlooked. Most people comment on the colour and wearability of polishes but the brush is so important. In my experience I find a wider brush fits my nail shape really well allowing for fewer strokes.
Although this box is great I do feel the packaging could be improved. The products are sent in a cardboard box filled with polystyrene chips. Other subscription boxes on the market are beautiful rigid boxes with products wrapped in tissue and ribbon. Unwrapping the packaging is all part of the process and really adds to the experience. Enhancing the Nailbox packaging would especially improve the box if it was to be given as a gift.
Nailbox is a great service, perfect for a gift or a beauty lover with a passion for nails wanting to discover new and exciting products. I’m a real lover of subscription boxes at the moment and this one is no exception. Overall the price point is very reasonable and the product range is wide and interesting.

I’m still smiling that I got this opportunity and I look forward to working hard on my blog to give you, my lovely readers, more exciting content.
